A. A few of you may remember a post I had about my inability to wrap presents. Check out the new informative and lengthy comment by trebor651 on that post. Quite amazing and insightful, trebor651. If any information could actually help me wrap presents, this is it. Thanks for taking the time to add your excellent comments! Now, I'm not sure who trebor651 is, but that is a minor detail.
B. Not that anyone cares, but the Minnesota Gophers "football team" blew a 31 point lead in something called the Insight Bowl last night. I have been saying for years that Glen Mason is The Single Biggest Fraud in Minnesota sports history - and (believe me) there is some tough competition for that spot. How this guy gets multi-million dollar contract extensions is beyond me. Here is how all Mason-coached Gophers seasons go:
1. Schedule a nunnery, a school for the blind, a D-II school, and a technical college for the first four games. Go 3-1 (lose to nunnery on a bad call).
2. Big Ten schedule starts. Get absolutely beaten like a drum by every team except Indiana, Northwestern and Michigan State. Go 6-5 (see previous comment)!!!
3. A 6-5 record is good enough for a "Bowl Game" because there are now 472 bowl games! Glen Mason comments "There are no bad bowl games." Game to be played on December 29th at midnight on TNT. Yes, Glen, there are bad bowl games.
4. Gophers embarrass themselves and the University on national television.
5. After season, Mason brags about another bowl season, and gets contract extension.
What a complete Fraud. Glen, in case you are reading this, I triple-dog dare you to schedule Cretin-Derham Hall High School next year. Seriously.
C. Jase is coming up on Sunday to watch the Wild play the (hated) Ducks of the hockey-hotbed of Anaheim, California on New Years Eve. If Anonymous, Pantless Wonder, or anyone else wants to meet after the game, let me know! I think Anonymous wants to light off fireworks.
Have a safe and Happy New Year everyone!

Anonymous won't just be lighting off fireworks, he'll be making them with his fellow Chinese.
I do want to actually thank Glen Mason for recruiting and playing this guy named Lawrence Maroney.
He looks great in a Patriots uniform as we host a playoff game. It's going to be a long winter for you Viking's fans.
Dear Phil - thank you for the comments. My Man Glen was actually able to recruit some great running backs for the program, with Maroney being the best of the lot. Unfortunately, he found most of his defensive players while they were working for the campus McDonalds, so they rarely gave up less than 38 points per game. A great running game didn't seem to help.
